Right, an important announcement here. All you loyal Erymirians out there deserve a reward for staying here, and i think that reward should be an fully functioning Erymire. This is not the first time Erymire has fallen into an inactivity slump, and back then I pledged that I would never leave Erymire no matter how inactive it got. And I stand by that.
Last time, at the end, Wynnyelle returned, promoting me and Cliff (who had taken control back then) into mods. Ren was also promoted not long later, after we suggested her. This means we have the right to take control this time. We are staff and I will stick by that.
I plan on running Erymire as if we were the admin, as we can't guarantee Wynnyelles return. All three of us (if they choose to return) will look after Erymire, I promise.
It's going to take a lot of work to get this up to its former glory, so before we start anything, I need to know who will help me out. If you think you can give a bit of your time to help support Erymire, be it advertising, roleplaying on here or something else, then please, post here and let me know.

I only just found this place, and it's the only good pokemon-only RP I've found. I'm not leaving anytime soon. In fact, I think I'll go make that eevee character I've been wanting to make...
Believe me, I won't let this place die. It's the RP I've been looking for for ages. ;P

Even though I sometimes let my activity level slide (it's not my fault, really, sometimes my hands are tied ><), I don't plan on leaving Erymire. I love this site, and I'll do whatever I can to help the site stay active.
I have advertised this forum on several forums already, and I will continue to place advertisements on other forums. Perhaps I will also place an ad on Quizilla.

I'm in as well, I have a few forums and experience with codes if you ever want to add something, i can get you the codes for it. =) Like Umby said, it's the first good pokemon-only RP i've found, so i'm not leaving easily.

I'd be glad to help with anything you need. ^^ I appreciate that you don't give up on your site, the way some of my former rpg sites did. Erymire is definitely the best pokemon rpg I've been at, and that's saying something.

I'm staying too. I've never found a site this good before, with such rules... I loved this place. Life might slow me down a little, but as long as I've got this place bookmarked, I'm here to stay!

I hope you guys get to keep your game running. I'm a bit disenchanted with this place =/ I've already had three folks drop out on my thread, I've posted to the 'need a role player' area... no reply. I had better hopes for a little recreational RP here, but it seems, it's just not to be for me.

EDIT: SGF, I went to check out the thread you were talking about in the 'RP with Me' board, and you and namora had three pages of roleplay. And namora was the last person to reply to it. You posted your request a month afterwards. If you'd replied, you could have carried on. She didn't drop out. And there are a lot of loyalists who would be happy to rp with you now if you fancy it. Never mind though =/

it doesn't really matter. If anyone was interested, there would have been something else there. Fish aren't as appealing as furry critters, I suppose. No worries.
I'll still poke my head in from time to time and see if anything has happened there. Should anyone want to play, I'll make a reply. If Gads is doomed to sit in limbo for internet eternity, it's no big deal either. I like him as a physical design. His character make-up is a formula I've used time and again.

We need to do something to boost the popularity. We did have a plot going, where Zilla was planning to blow up part of Erymire. Now, since there are two Alpine Meadows, I thought she could go after one of them.
Anyone got any objections? If not, does anyone want to be involved? Ren, you are, since Kiyoshi and Rayzor will try to stop it =] But anyone else thats great =] If you don't know what's happened, there's a plot I wrote somewhere in the OOC board, or just PM me =]
Once the plots started, I'll go and advertise =]

I was one of the first ten members here, then I disappeared.
I have a suggestion for this site.
1. Hold an activity check. Anyone who does not post in the activity check has their account deleted.
2. Email every account (There's an admin function for that) informing them of the check. This may even bring back some old members
3. Delete every thread made more than 2 or three months ago.
Basically, get this place neatened up, cleaned out, and start fairly fresh.
4. Then Start referral competitions, whoever can refer the most people, or a set amount of people, gets something nice. (A legendary? Permission to create/evolve to a pokemon above their current post level?)
5. Erymire has a lot of boards, and quite a few of them are untouched, or barely used. Some of these could be condensed into one board.
It might be a bit of work, but by cleaning up, referring, affiliating and advertising, you could really get Erymire back into gear.

Those are some great ideas Ziskara, but some of them have problems.
The activity check wouldn't work. I did one before, but I can't delete accounts, and when Wynnyelle returned, she said she'd never delete anyones account in case they wanted to come back one day.
The boards thing can't be done without Wynn either since Mods don't have the power to change, delete or make boards at all.
And as for deleting threads, that will take a very long time, plus I don't like deleting old threads. They hold a lot of history for characters. If there was a board to move them into then I would but I can't make boards. =/
However, I will e-mail everyone since I wass planning on that anyway, I just forgot to actually do it, and as for the referral competition, that's a great idea and I'd love to do it. I have a lot to do though, but if Ren or Cliff could set that up, that would be great!
