Zeelo ran through the trees, glancing behind him to check Luna was still with him. Nearly there they were nearly there. The very top of the mountain, clear of all trees with a view of the whole of Erymire, the perfect place. But they just needed to get a little further. His legs were beginning to ache now, but he'd made this journey before. What about Luna? She hadn't come this way before, would she be alright? He glanced back again. Come on Lna, nearly there, nearly there!

Luna was tired. They had come a long way now...but there was no way that she would make him think that she was weak. Wow...where did that come from? Oh well. The thought of wanting to impress him was pushed to the back of her mind. Well, she attempted to keep it there. She ran a little faster, pushing herself to keep up with the hybrid.
((That's cute, since Luna is latin for moon. ^___^))

Zeelo paused next to some bushes. ths was the top, the very top, the place they needed to be. He waited for Luna to reach his side, before pushing the bushes out of her way so she could step through. She followed her out of the trees and onto the top of the mountain. And it looked incredible. The moon was shining so brightly above them, it lit up the whole of Erymire. And above their heads about ten other moons floated, obviosly formed by Zeelo's Moonlight attack, a move that was meant to heal a Pokemon. The ten mons were forming a circle of spotlights on the floor with small gaps between and a large gap in the middle, like a raised platform though at the same level. Dancing all around the moons were fire spins and confuse rays, looking like purple and red galaxies spinning like frisbees throuh the sky. The fire spins looked almost fuzzy as the flames licked the surronding area, whilst the yellow circles on the edges of the confuse rays stayed dominant, so the mix of purples melted into them. Zeelo had obviously put a lot of effort into this before he came for Luna.

Luna's mouth was wide open, as well as her eyes as she gaped at the scene in front of her. It was amazing! She had never seen anything like this! It took her breath away. As a young one, she was always interested in the world that was just above the world she lived in. Hince the name, Luna, which her mother had given to her because of her interest in the sky. But...no one knew about this interest of hers, besides her mother. She turned to Zeelo. "Did you..." she faded away, though her voice was barely above a whisper. She couldn't finish. She turned back to the sky. But she wasn't as focused anymore. More things went through her mind. Like, why would anymone go through so much trouble for her? She was nothing special. She had done nothing to deserve this. It was too beautiful...too grand to be for her.

He smiled widely, glad she liked it. His heart filled with joy at that thought and he led her into the circle of moons. As they stepped through, they both felt refreshed and strong, as was the moves nature. They sat down in the ring and he watched her stare up at the sky. He could sense she was uneasy. Did she think she didn't deserve this? "People may not like you but they just don't know you. They go around, saying you're nothing, but you really are, you are special, ignore them..." His voice sort of trailed of and in a very quiet voice that gradually got louder with confidence, he began to sing to her. "Propoganda is putting thoughts in my head. Luna felt warm inside, but no words could come to her. No words of gratitude came to her lips. Nothing could process in her mind except for one thing: Zeelo. That was it, she would conclude later. That was why she wanted to be the best around him. It was there all along. An emotion she thought she would never feel, but had always wanted. And he gave it to her. She felt her eyes get wet. Wait...was that a weakness? She didn't care anymore. She really didn't. For the first time in a long time, she let them fall. Thankfully and lovingly, she licked the side of his muzzle, then leaned against him, staring up at the sky. That's all she could do at that point. She sighed in content, finally feeling loved. And later, maybe, she would tell him how much it meant to her, and how much her heart had beat that night. Ok, maybe she could say something. She had to. Right now..."Thank you..." she whispered, closing her eyes to take in the magic, not just see it. ((I'm very impressed. Good show. *claps* Luna loves it too! And Zeelo...  )) |

Zeelo was rather worried at first, was his singing that bad it made her cry? But she licked him and though he was shocked and blushed, he knew he had done right. He smiled and layed his chin on her head. That warm feeling he felt every time he was near her now increased ten fold as she uttered two singal words. "Thank you." He blushed.
"O-oh it w-as nothing," he stuttered, blushing. When ever he blushed, the yellow rings on him turned red rather than his cheeks, like most Umbreons. Nothing? Nothing? Zeelo, you spent weeks and weeks, maybe even months practising and prefecting that song, and you say it was nothing. He grinned at himself, still blushing brightly and looked up at the sky with Luna.

Luna giggled, hearing him stutter. It was interesting to her. She had never heard him sound so...flustered before. It truly was a rare sight. Suddenly, her voice came back to her. (Of course...now it comes back...) she growled to herself. But she remained happy. "What are you thinking about?" she asked softly. The ice was broken. He loved her and she loved him. Though she hated to ruin the moment, she wanted to know.

"You," he said immediatly. Then he jumped slightly, realising what he'd just said. " I - I mean you as in... er... as in... the moon! Yes, of course the moon. Luna means moon I'm thinking bout the moon... Yeah, that right..." He said. YOU IDEOT! He thought to himself. What did you go and say that for? And then that excuse? Stupid! Oh Zeelo you'll be hopeless with her, why did you start this - A much louder thought interrupt him: Because I love her! And that was that, it was true and no-one could deny it now...

Her giggle turned into a loud laugh. "You...you're cute," she told him. Grinning, she then said, "Or do you not like to be called cute?" Yes...she felt like picking on him now. She couldn't help it. But, she read between the lines and replied, "I love you too."

Zeelo was about to respond when she said the three words he was always thinking when around her. He blushed so red his rings looked like neon. "I....I love you too Luna..." he said. He looked up at the sky and began to hum his song again. Maybe there was more to life than serving the Shadowlord. He was brouht up to believe that was it, Amira never really taught him about love. But that feeling when he irst saw Vixen again, and then when he was with Luna... it had to be.

She closed her eyes and was leaning against him again. "I like it..." she mumbled, speaking of the song. She'd always treasure it, like this night. It'll stay deep in her heart. Yeah, Zeelo had a lot to learn. The horde was his life, but she was honored that he let her into it. She would have to show him more...more than just the horde. The world was a big place, after all. She was sad that she would have to come back from this cloud of joy; back to the dark legendary and the war and darkness. She wanted to stay here...with him.

Her smiled again, still not returning to his natural colour. He licked her head, then blushed brighter and turned away not sure whether he'd done the right thing. He looked at the ground away from her. The firespins were beinning to burn up but the cinfuse rays and moonlights were as bright as ever. Even without them, the night was beautiful enough and the whole of Erymire could be seen. Pokemon could be seen roaming around,settling in for the night or just waking up.

It had happened. Her rings were finally a light pink in some form of a blush. It would be a while before they got used to it. She watched with interest as the other pokemon came out, watching the miracle in the sky. "It must've taken some time..." she mumbled to Zeelo. She looked up at him. "How did you do it?" she asked. Hidden somewhere in that sentence was the phrase "You did it for me."

He didn't answer for a while. "Well it was easy really... I practised... and then I just... you know its easy..." he trailed off. He didn't know what to say. What did she want to hear? Gosh women were so confusing. But it was worth it. Where could he take her. It had to be somewhere good, somewhere where the two of them could be together uninterupted, but somewhere that could keep her happy. He had a sudden urge to move closer to her so he gave way to it and did. His tail linked with hers and his front paw touched hers. he was giving so many signals that his instinct told him to but he himself didn't know what these signals actually meant.

Luna accepted the gestures, laughing softly once again. Love was a strange emotion, but it was wonderful. She was happy. Nothing mattered anymore. She'd follow him into the pits of the Underworld, no questions. Wait...one thing did matter more. SHe wanted him to be happy, too. If he wasn't happy, she would die. She wouldn't be able to handle it.

He licked her cheek, nuzzling her weakily. Adrenaline was pumping around his body, his blood was running faster and his breathing quickened. He nuzzled her again, wondering what these strange changes brought with them. His body wanted something but his mind didn't know what. How could he possibly please this desire if he couldn't decifer what it was. He licked her again and the feeling grew stronger. What did he do now?

It was her turn. She licked him back. She wondered if he could hear her heart beating...it was so loud! She mentally told her heart to stop, but it wouldn't. Her rings grew brighter the more embarrassed she got about her heart. It wouldn't slow down. She got closer to him: yes, that would surely work. Guess what? It didn't.

He moved even closer to her so there wasn't a single amount of air between there two bodies. He licked her again, these strnges thouhts, feelings and hormones taking control over him. He pushed onto her, knocking her to the ground and standing above her. He licked her cheek again, feeling everything in his entire life devote itself to her and this moment with her. If he died in the next ten secnd she would die happy, because all he wanted was to be with her now and forever. Now and forever. Now and forever...

Zeelo licked her again, his eyes locked with hers and his paws surronding her, almost encaging her, but Luna looked so happy. Everything he was doing was right and he was getting all the right signals, so should he proceed? The lick that Luna gave him made up his mind, yes, this was right and she was ready. He moved onto her and began.
Zeelo was sleeping, lying over Luna after an incredible night that he couldn't quite believe had just happened. Luna was his, officially, and he had done what he had only dreamed he could do to her. He was so happy, he felt high, like he was up in the sky but Luna's warm body and steady breathing below him reminded him he was on the top of a mountain with the Pokemon he loved. There was nothing on Erymire that could take them apart, and last night had sealed that bond. It had been so wonderful, such ecstasy, he had never wanted it to end but it had had to, like every other good thing in the world. But Zeelo and Luna were together now, and that would last for all eternity, never ending, the best thing in the world.

It was nearly morning...Luna could tell though she slept. She felt safe and secure, Zeelo over her. Everything was amazing, she had never felt this way before. She snuggled against him, sighing in content. She knew he was happy too, and that only put her in a better mood. Everything was alright...she was in the most beautiful place with the most wonderful guy. If there was anything in this world that was perfect, it was this moment. This feeling. This love.

He felt her move beneath him and he opened his eyes, watching her. He must have watched her sleep for an hour, before slowly standing up. He trotted away from her, into the forest. He could make her breakfast in bed, keep her happy because he didn't want that to ebb away. He was always a good hunter and was used to hunting for two rather than one, since he always hunted for Amira, whilst she stayed at home.
It wasn't long before he found enough food and brought it back to her. He had made a plate out of leaves and placed on it a cooked Pidgey, carefully roasted by his own flamethrower and gracefully presented with a range of different berries and some seeds to make up a proper meal. A small hollowed out log contained pure spring water, tinged with oran berry juice to give it a unique taste.
Zeelo was pleased with how he had made the meal and stood back from it, waiting patiently for Luna to wake up.

Luna's eyes flittered open after she finally realized that her love was gone. She panicked, jumping up. But as her eyes landed on Zeelo, she calmed down and realized how stupid she must've looked. Sitting down, she looked at the food. "Wow..." she muttered, giggling. "You spoil me," she told him, but she smiled all the same. She didn't realize how hungry she was until her stomach decided to inform her of it; right that very moment. She stared at her stomach, scolding it.

Zeelo laughed. "Hungery? Eat up, I'll be back soon, don't worry," he said. He trotted off through the mountain forest to find the two species of creature he would need for the next part his and Lunas future. The only problem was, the didn't really come out in the day and they wouldn't be as high up as this. But the cave near the bottom of the mountain forest sounded like a perfect environment for them, so he needed to check it out. As long as it didn't get too light before he found the...

Luna smiled and watched him until he was out of her sight, and then looked down to the food. She started to eat, stomach thankful for the meal. Though, she didn't know if Zeelo had eaten yet, so she would be sure to save some for him. She also wondered where he was going, but trusted him enough to know that everything was alright; he'd be back soon. But he seemed to be looking for something...Luna wondered what. Was he maybe looking for some more food? She didn't mind sharing...so that couldn't have been it. Though one voice in her head kept telling her to stop worrying about it, another voice told that voice to shut up; curiousity was a natural reflex, after all. And, obviously, that voice saw it as a reflex, though Luna wasn't sure if it was considered one or not.

Zeelo appeared up near her again not too long later. He smiled, glancing behind him to check everything was ready. He nodded to something over his shoulder and beautiful music began to echo around the clearings. A small band of Kriketunes were making themnselves into an Orchestra around Zeelo, who was stood in the middle smiling at Luna. He began to sing the song again, this time accompanied by music:

Luna blinked, staring at the display. A smile came to her face as she walked over to Zeelo. "You know, you're the only one who ever leaves me speachless..." she murmered, licking him. "Of course," she answered his question.

Luna enjoyed being close to him; it felt...nice. Safe. Comforting. So much had happened in such a short amount of time, which normally would've left her dazed. But, she supposed that she had grown up a lot more than she thought; she would have to pay attention from now on. But how could she pay attention to herself when her love was in front of her? Oh well, it never bothered her before. He had all of her attention, and she knew it.
((I like that song...yes, lazy Ren went and found it on Youtube only to find out later that you put a link...heh...stupid me...But it's been stuck in my head for days. Luna Lovegood is my favorate character, after all. ^__^))
