Shadow sighed heavilly and plopped down in the meadow. "Where did you go...?" he grumbled. The eevee closed his eyes and started to drift off to sleep.

The grass felt cool underneath him. It gave the softest rustle and was pleasantly damp. Venom opened his jaws wide in a yawn. He felt lazy after all the days doing noting. He was determined to bully some helpless young Pokemon, giving his life a purpose once again.
Slithering towards a patch of grass, a Eevee was seen, dozing happily. It was the perfect target, unaware, weak, but Venom's motive wasn't to kill. It was to attack. The Seviper used his tail and gave the Eevee a thwack with his tail He was careful to not inject any poison and careful not to hit too hard as to kill it but enough for it to feel fear.
Venom hissed in the Eevee's ear. "Hello puny Pokemon. I will be your worst nightmare."

Shadow let out a yelp. "What the heck was that for?" he exclaimed, looking around for his attacker. Of course, it never occured to him to look toward the rear at the time. He was angred that someone had the nerve to attack while he was asleep. That was not, in his opinion, the making of a real warrior. Real warriors want fair fights.
The young one finally turned to see the snake-pokemon. "What's your problem, buddy?" he growled. He had never seen this kind before; he had seen an Arboc ((sp?)), but not this pokemon. That agrivated him more.

(I think its spelt Arbok but I'm not sure. And sorry about the short post too. Well... At least it isn't a one-liner right?)
Venom chuckled. That 'worst nightmare' line was too corny. The Seviper made a mental note to find some other catchphrase. "My problem huh? Well ya know what buster?" Venom bared his gleaming red fangs and shook his tail side to side. "I won't kill you. Just... Hurt you a lot but y'know? I'm bored so it'll be fun torturing you."

"That's sick," Shadow informed the snake-pokemon bluntly. He wasn't scared, like he SHOULD have been. Maybe that was the reason he was "stupid", as his sister always called him. "Torturing the little guys for amusement is just sick," he repeated for lack of anything better to say, "Pick on someone your own size!"

Venom laughed and thwacked the Eevee with his tail again, giving it the slightest edge of poison so it wouldn't kill him but let him feel the sting.
(My brain's really dead right now so mind me with the overly short posts. I'm trying to recover my muse so I won't be on Eryymire much anymore.)

Shadow was slightly taken aback by the poison. "What the..." he faded off, feeling strange. He got angry. "What kind of dirty trick was that?!" he exclaimed. His paw rubbed the part of his head that was hit.
((Don't worry. I'm suffering writer's block so we're on the same page.
Also, Ninetails, is it James or Jamie? Cuz I need to bring Ai in sooner or later.))

[Jamie is with Ai but James is going to come soon...probably before Ai and Jamie get there]
James then came to the party. He seen the Eevee and the Seviper and seen the snake pokemon attack. 'I have to do something!!!' he thought before charging in, shooting out a Flamethrower towards the Seviper.

Shadow looked at the new arrival and his first thought was, "Big sis!" But the poison was starting to get to him, so he said nothing. (For the first time in his life...) Besides, he realized this wasn't the ninetails he knew, which upset him slightly. But he was thankful for the help.

James then used Quick Attack towards Shadow and snatched him up before any other attacks could be delt to him. James then turned back to the snake pokemon and let out a roar that was so loud that it seemed to shake the hole place

Venom's eyes flashed red with anger. (Even though they were already red in the first place! XD)The flamethrower attack took him by surprise and he was lucky to have dodged... most of it. He was singed slightly in places. The Ninetails roared but it had not ennerved (is that a word?) him, simply made the Seviper mad. Anrgy at his daring. Venom launched himself at the two Pokemon, fangs bared.
(Sorry for being so late... I'm thinking about leaving Erymire...)

James pushed Shadow away from the snake pokemon and ran right back at him and used a Psychic attack to send it flying away and then tried to use another Flamethrower while the pokemon was down.

On the other side of the meadow, Ai's ears twitched. "There's a battle going on..." she mumbled. A cold feeling came to her and she somehow got a feeling Shadow was part of it. (She couldn't see the battle for one reason or another.)

(No no! I'm still here! And Ninetails- I think it was kinda powerplaying when you made Venom fall because he could've dodged or something but it's OK! I'll be leaving soon so I guess I won't be doing any roleplaying so (I'm saying so alot!) so feel free to roleplay any of my Pokemon- Twilla, Meryl, Ceci, Venom. Yeah- It's all so sad... I can't get on the computer much anymore...)

Immediately seeing the darker eevee, Ai's eyes widened. "Shadow!" she exclaimed, running with more speed than any normal ninetails and stopping next to James, not taking much notice at that moment in time.
"Shadow! Are you ok?" she asked. Shadow grinned up at her with a tired look in his eyes. "Hey...Big Sis..." he greeted. He looked at James. "He camed and saved me, not that I needed saving. I could've handled 'im," he persisted stubornly, the grin never leaving his face. Ai sighed and was looking him over for serious injuries. When she was done, she concluded that they would find him a pecha berry and everything would be fine.
Ai finally turned to James. "Regardless of what he says, he couldn't have made it without you. Thank you very much," she said. Then, to Jamie, she smirked. "This is our trouble-maker, Shadow. He's Dawn's twin."

Ai looked worried instantly. She leaned over to James. "Dear pokegods...are you alright?" she asked. She looked around for any sign of a berry bush. Sighing in defeat, she returned to looking the ninetails over.
Shadow was too busy looking Jamie over, trying to figure out what he was. When he did see his savior fall, he decided poking him with his paw would help.
