[Ren]

Auron, the espeon, let out a flow of colorful curses under his breath as a small stone hit his head. Glaring up at the sky from where the stone came from, he looked with interest at the group, a new hope running through him. He walked out of his bush and went straight to the group. "Hey! I hate to interupt, may I ask if any of you have seen an umbreon around here? Anywhere?" he asked, speaking quickly from excitement.

"Well Gliding on water is really really fun but I always get carried away and go too fast and.........." Surso got interrupted by this newcomer and quickly got excited that this could be a potential friend, he forgot what he was talking about and went towards the espeon and said
"Hi I'm Surso, Whats your name? And no I have not seen an Umbreon around here"
Surso was actually completely clueless about what an umbreon was he didn't see a lot of different pokemon since he was always on the water the only reason that he knew this was an Espeon is because he met a group of them on the waters edge drinking.

Dalton's attention was pulled away from Surso too as the espeon made itself known to the group. Of course, like his same-type friend, he had no idea what an umbreon was, "Seen-a-what?" he responded, his words somewhat running together, somewhat portraying his confusion as to what an 'umbreon' and this newcomer was.

Oddly enough, even though he just met the purple-coated eevee-evo, the child walked up to Auron and began to pet his coat, "Hm...your fur feels good, although it looks weird..." being the youngling he is, Dalton truly didn't mean any offense, he just didn't know how to word his idea politely, "how come you're purple? I've never seen anything like you!" Dalton's whole face was lit up in curiosity when he looked back at the espeon's face. "Oh, and what are you? And what's your name?" he recalled--even though it was just moments before--that Surso asked the same question, tilting his head in slight confusion before awaiting an answer.

Disappointment flashed across Auron's eyes as he sat down, making it easier for the child to pet him. He didn't mind; he had a little sister after all. He quickly covered his disappointment and smiled at the group. He took one question at a time. "My name is Auron, I'm an espeon, and I'm not really sure why I'm purple...I just ended up like this one day," he explained kindly, hoping all the questions were answered.

[Clif]

The youngling nodded in response, his head moving up and down at the fastest his little neck and child energy would allow. "Alright...Auron!" he replied almost forgetting the name he had just learned. "What 'cha lookin' for again?" he asked, "What does it look like?" with head tilted to the side in curiosity and the will to help his new friend in company of the others, Dalton was quite hyped up and ready to begin the search, having no idea how hard it might be.

Auron seemed to think for a moment, wondering how he could describe an umbreon. "Let's see...she's a little smaller than me...she's got black fur with yellow rings...um...she's got red eyes...." he tried to explain. He realized how little attention he payed to her outer appearance.

He shook his head at the young one. "Don't worry about it, though. We'll run into each other eventually," he told him. He grinned. "Tell me a little about yourselves," he stated to Surso and Dalton.

Surso was very excited about learning about a new pokemon he wanted to learn as much he could about the world he lived in he almost was so distracted by imagining the pokemon's appearance he almost did not hear, but he would not miss out on telling other pokemon about himself " Well I'm a Surskit if you didn't know I don't know how old I am cause its not fun keeping up with that, I really want to evolve one day and become a Masquerin one day, I am to fast and always run into things. and thats about it" Surso finished off his words with a huge grin ad=nd the waited for Dalton to talk about himself.

[Clif]

Dalton grinned, "I'll keep an eye out for her if I see her!" he said confidently, as if he was going to find her soon.

Quickly, the youngling proceeded to providing information about his own being, "If you didn't already know, I'm a buizel and I'm not very old right now, but my parents don't take care of be because they left a long time ago! I've been here for a long time but it has been good for the same amount of time. I'm not the best at anything around here but it's fun hanging around!" he replied, looking up towards the tops of the waterfalls.

[Ren]

Auron nodded, taking in the information and comitting it to memory. He seemed shocked. "So...you two haven't had anyone take care of you...for how long?" he asked, not believing that a parent would leave young ones unprotected. His parents had died but it was different. He was old enough to take care of himself by then.

[Clif]

Dalton tilted, "Well...I can't remember how long they have been gone! First my mom left, then dad was gone too..." he said, his face somewhat stern, trying to recall his earlier memories. "My dad said he was going to return with mom and everything would be alright, since he knew that this place was very, very safe! They'll be back soon!" Unbeknownst to the little buizel, his parents were both killed by predators in the area, his mom first and then his father suffered the same fate when his mate hadn't returned back in an unreasonable amount of time.

"How long have you been alone mister?" he asked cheerfully, his head tilting to the side in anticipation of an answer.

[Ren]

Auron thought this question over, actually wondering what the answer was himself. Sighing, he answered, "A while now. My parents died when I was a little older than you, and then I had to take care of my sister, who is somewhere out there," he explained, "I'm not sure about the exact amount of time. Others have come and gone, so it didn't feel like I was completely alone."

[Clif]

Dalton nodded in understanding, "I feel bad for you," he began, not knowing that 'I'm sorry to hear' was a better start, "that your parents died. Its hard out on your own for a while. I was an only pup so I was alone for a while when my parents left, until I made some new friends." The youngling's gaze moved to the top of a waterfall where there were quite a few boulders resting near the edges of the waterfalls.

(trying to come up with a plot for this thread atm, mind is drifting other places though)

Surso was getting bored from standing around that was a bad thing abut him he has a very short attention span but now he was just looking in the water ready to spring into speed again (and probably hit a tree) he had no idea what the pokemon around him were talking about he was just too engrossed in being a child.

(Sorry about being late I have a bunch of net junkies in my house)

"No need to feel sorry for me," Auron laughed lightly. "What's done is done. What I can worry about now is the future." He proceeded to look over the two younglings for the umpteenth time. A part of him smiled, knowing they were the future of Erymire. All young ones had their turn of being the future. How they handle that responsibility is up to them.

And so, he decided to himself that he would watch them, if they'd allow it. Keep 'em safe. y'know? he thought to himself.
