The Moon Festival {Muravix/Vulpix ONLY}

Rhyme sat in the dappled shade infront of the Serebii shrine. She had numerous things on her mind, but they all related to the Moon Festival, which took place here... tonight. It was the warm, late afternoon, so the Muravix anxiously walked about and looked to the dappled treetops. Her two tails floated limply behind her a she nervously anticipated, and dreaded, the moon's rising.

Ryhon walked into the clearing, his fur rippleing in the breeze.

Rhyme, still watching the sky, caught Rhyon's scent. Whirling around, she saw the other Muravix and did a double-take. Another Muravix? Here?

[Starrunner]

Rhyon looked at the female in suprise. ~another muravix?~


Moonbeam slunk into the clearing, her 2 tails flowing in the breeze.

"Three of us?" Rhyme asked, seeing the third Muravix enter. Looking up, the sun was setting and the moon was visible in the sky. "The... Moon.."

[Starrunner]

Moonbeam looked to the sky. Her fur turned a dazzling silver and her eyes reflected the moon. Her body was edged with a white light.

Rhyme looked at the pair and back to the moon. Midnight was drawing closer. She hadn't interacted with the pack in months. By the rules of the Ceremony, she'd have to have a mate by the next day. But three of them? The other two whom she had not interacted with in months...?

(moonbeam needs a male mate.)

Rhyon walked up to rhyme and said, "Hello again."

[looks like most of Muravix do...lol...good thing Jesse is coming to the rescue...or maybe he is just making things worse...i guess we will find out...]

Jesse walked up from behind Rhyme, not noticed by anyone. His tails were dragging on the ground as he watched and listened to the others, wondering why there was a gathering...

Rhyme turned to Rhyon. "Greetings to you, also..." as this happened to be the first Ceremony, there was a slight air of anxiety and nervousness. Rhyme herself was uneasy, three of them two of them were female... turning around again, she noticed Jesse. Now there were four... a better number for the Ceremony.

Jesse then noticed that he had been spotted and tried to dive out of sight. Being his first time around other Muravix, he was both shy and nervous...

[like it wasn't obvious...lol]

Rhyme sighed as Jesse slunk away. Her attention was fixed again on the moon high in the sky.... it had given her an odd feeling, as if she had no control of her body. In this state, she lightly licked Rhyon's cheek and curled her tails around her body.

Jesse then noticed that it was safe and revieled himself once more. He slunk his way up behind Rhyme and sat down beside her, not knowing what else he really could do. "My name is Jesse..." he said finally feeling comfortable talking.

Rhyme nodded to Jesse and repeated her greeting. Everything was so calm now, the pearly moon high in the diamond studded, black velvet night. The trees shook softly with a flower-perfumed breeze.

Jesse then looked up to the moon. To him, it was the greatest night of all! Being with others of your own kind and finally knowing where you belong. He then slowly walked over to moonbeam and sat down next to her.

Moonbeam looked at Jesse, her eyes the moon it's self. "Hello." she said quietly.

Rhyon licked ryhme back and he scooted closer to her, his tails twiching.

"It is good to meet others of my kind..." he said with a small smile on his face. "I'm Jesse by the way..."

[Starrunner]

"I am Moonbeam, servant of the moon." she said, turning to look at the moon again.

(ooc: That is why hereyes look like the moon and why her fur glows in the moonlight, is is the moon sevent......no special powers.)

"And I am...nothing..." He replied with a very quiet laugh. He then looked at the moon too, his eyes glowing lightly in the light.

Moonbeam moved alittle closer to Jesse.

Jesse, unknowinly, wrapped his two tails around Moonbeam's, creating a small heart with both tails. "Tell me something...why is it that the moon is beautiful...but you are even more beautiful than the moon?" he asked with a slight smile.

[Starrunner]

"The moon is alway more beautyful than I, for I am only the servant." she said, looking at jesse

Rhyme smiled, her tails intertwined with Rhyon's. The moon was remarkable tonight, its soft pearlescent glow falling upon the four Muravix.

Rhyon asked softly, "Will you be my mate?"

Jesse smiled and replied:"Yes...if you will accept me..." he then licked her muzzle lightly.

Rhyme nodded. "Yes..." Staring at the moon had brought her to think of something. "The.. the Crusade. What do you think of it...?" she asked timidly.

[Starrunner]

"I was going to join after the moon festival, but if you don't want to...." ryhon said to rhyme.

"I accept you, jesse. But give me a moment to get mother moons approval." Moonbeam said and looked at the moon.

"Then we shall wait together...as true mates..."he said with another small smile.

[Starrunner]

" She says we are destined to be together." Moonbeam said to jesse.
