A lazy sort of day {OPEN} « Thread Started on Mar 18, 2009, 1:31pm »
Sasha continued on her way, searching for something to occupy her attention. Where is everyone? she thought. It's been nearly all day and I've barely seen anyone!
Slightly annoyed, she continued her search, looking for something exciting to cure her perpetual boredom.
Eventually, she stopped.
Well fine, if there's nobody around, I'll just have to occupy myself! she finally decided, and took a seat on a nearby rock.
She began to concentrate, and small orbs of flame began to form in the air. Even easier... was the only thought she could make without losing concentration.
The flames began to move, being controlled by the vulpix. They began to move in patterns and shapes, only staying on one thing for a few moments before moving to the next.
After a few moments, Sasha let out a sigh, before continuing to conduct her own grand light show.

A silver figure moved about the mountains forest. He was hunting. The silent figure known as an absol moved along the rugged passes. SilverWind knew that whatever this scent was, it wasn't the meal he expected. Silver stepped into the clearing. There was a vulpix sitting on a rock, playing with fire.
Silver wanted to approach, but whenever he did they would run away. Whether it was the fact that he was an absol, or how he looked. They always did. He was black where he was supposed to be dark blue, he was silver were he was supposed to be white, and to top it all of he has black wind-like markings stretching across his body.
Well it mattered not. SilverWind stepped into the scene. The firelight reflecting off of his silver fur. The vulpix seemed to be to occupied by the flames to even notice him. Silver decided to take advantage of this moment.
He lurked behind her, and ruffled out his fur. Dirt flying in all directions. Then spoke, "It's a nice day, isn't it." His voice, warm, and comforting. Silver sat down, and waited for a response.

(OOC: Hopefully someone else can join soon, RPing isn't much fun with just two people. Oh, and don't mind Sasha, she just doesn't like being startled :3)
"It's a nice day, isn't it."
The words initially startled her, but unlike the last time something like this happened, she didn't lose her concentration. The flame orbs shimmered briefly, but they held.
They didn't stay in the same place, however. As instinct, Sasha brought them to defensive use. Fast as spreading wildfire, the flame orbs swept around the intruder, and began to circle him wildly. At the same time, Sasha quickly turned to inspect her attacker.
The flame orbs increased in intensity when she recognized his species from earlier that day. It took her a moment more to realize it wasn't the same Absol, but this didn't change her resolve.
"Is your kind always so quick to attack the unwary?" she spat, obviously highly agitated. Her senses once again sharpened, readying herself for any sort of incoming attack from the trapped assailant.
