Shade had slowed to a canter and then to a fast trot as she reached the berry bushes. "Here we are, and look! An oran berry tree! You guys could nest up there and I could sleep in that tiny clearing in the bushes there! Isn't this perfect!?!" She was acting very strange exspecial be cause she was normally alone and sullen.

Stormcloud nodded. "Its perfect here!" he chirped, floating down to the ground. "Ok, I can collect some nest supplies if you want." Storm chirped, turning to Phionix.

Phi fluttered down and nodded. "That would be great! I will go and collect some delisious berries to make a salad. Oh! this will be perfect!" She darted off into the bushes.
Shade walked into the clearing by pushing apart 2 bramble bushes carefully. The bushes were tall enough to hide her and were prickle with brambles. She bgen making her home fit to live in. She started by carfully burning the dead leaves and branches away.

Storm nodded and flew off towards a dead tree. "Perfect!" he chirped as he snapped off some twigs with his beak. He floated down to the ground, picking up the twigs and taking off again. He spotted a pile of rocks nearby. It was covered with cobwebs, so he went over and grabbed them for the supplies. He put it in his little supplies pile. He looked around, but instead heard a loud screech and felt claws wrap around him. He whistled loudly for help after realizing Neon and Ice had followed him. "You better have a good excuse for leaving!" Ice growled. "Let me go!" Storm yelled, but Neon tightened his grip. "We aren't letting you go until we get some answers!" Neon hissed, obviously angrier then Ice was.

Shade heard the shreak and dashed towards the sound. "Storm? Is that you?" She call dashing to where they were. She froze at the sight of the 2 predators.
Phi came charging out of the bushes near by. "Now I say!" she screeched. "Put my friends down before you are sorry!"

Neon let out a loud screech, annoyed. "we aren't letting him go without a fight!" Ice growled, his eyes locked on Shade. Neon looked down as storm started to try to chew on his red steely leg. "Its not gonna happen Storm. Just give it up!" he screeched, his voice sounding like steel against a chalkboard.

Phi. and Shade looked at eachother, nodded and gathered themselves up. Then the pair of pokemon let loose a paired ember attack, foocusing it on neon. Shade continued the attack while Phi broke off and let embers fly at Ice.

Neon screeched loudly and loosened his grip on Storm, who flew away. Storm landed and glared at Ice, who was flinching from the ember attacks. He flew up high and flapped his purple wings wildly, creating a huge gust attack. It stood still, waiting to be launched. "Use your strongest attacks on the gust!" Storm yelled over the wind as Ice's eyes widened.

Phi nodded and directed her embers into the gust. She poured her strength into the fire.
Shade stopped her stream of embers and whipped up a fire spin and added it to the gut. The whirling wind was accompanied now by embers and circled by a firey vortex. This was it.

Storm nodded and began to flap his wings harder and harder. The gust finally took off, straight towards Ice and Neon, at full speed. After the gust hit, he began to flap his wings strongly, faking another gust.
Ice and Neon stood still, not moving a muscle. The gust hit them both with great strength, leaving them wounded badly. They flinched, getting up. They're eyes widened when Storm began faking another gust attack. Shocked, then both ran off, still injured from the hit.

Phi. Fluttered up to Storm and wrapped her wings around him. " You did it! Oh I an so happy!" She said, giving his a birdy kiss before fluttering to the ground. Her cheeks flush red, but her red and gold plumage hid her blush. She had fallen in love with thisfine male and she knew it.
Shade reared and pawed the air. "We showed them!" she said, coming back down on all 4s again.

Storm nodded. They had all made Ice and Neon run away. One thing flew through Storm's mind-
If they were that strong now, what would happen if he evolved?
He would be stronger and faster, but his appearence would change completely. It was decided that he couldn't choose himself.
"Hey, guys? I was wondering... Should I evolve?" Storm asked, looking confused.

Phionix turned to look up at him. " Do you feel it? I have for some time now. I want to evolve....but I am afraid you would not like me anymore... And if you want to...you can...I think you will look wonderful as an alteria."
Shade nodded her agreement. She thought when the time came for her to evolve she would.

Storm smiled slightly. His too friends had agreed. He looked towards Phionix encouragingly. "We'll both still like you if you evolve!" he chirped.

Phi looked at her feet. SHe had such wonderfull friends. Tears dappled the ground beneath her. She knew she had to ask, otherwise she could not evolve. She needed a gift from a closefriend or mate to evolve. She looked up and said, "Storm, I know you will be beautifull as an alteria and...I love you..." She whipped her eyes and darted away into the bushes. She got about 10 yards away before hiding herself under a leafy bush. Why did she say it? Why? She had just ruined her relationship...
